People just throw cash at this shit and it’s mediocre asf. They will probably make the sequel even less fleshed out and get it out as fast as possible because Harry Potter fans would buy a brown paper bag with dogshit in it as long as it had the Harry Potter IP attached and they know that now. Idc if it’s a long term franchise or not. People may hate me for saying all of this but idc.

Another console sales push and they will be in the billions in sales and that makes me sick because the game is NOT that good. They have already made 800 million from sales from this game. These devs and Warner bros just care about getting previous gen consoles out. (New mounts, season changes, new cosmetics, even dragons for the vivariums). Modders have pretty much offered way more quality of life improvements to the game. Hogwarts Legacy is a 2023 action role-playing game developed by Avalanche Software and published by Warner Bros. They are so concerned with sales there is hardly any dev support for the game rn. They just cared about polishing this game up enough to send it out and get sales. Massive multi million dollar company got a AA dev team that worked on toddler games instead of getting a development team that would have really fleshed this game out.

We have the tools more than ever to make great games. Plenty of single player games have so much more to offer. Attack of the Fanboy - Noah Nelson - 4.

The fact this game spent the same amount of time in development as other really great long standing titles is a shame. Despite not being a perfect game, is a very special experience for all the Harry Potter fans and also, a great open world title. No I haven’t picked up this game in over a week since a beat it and I have 0 reason to return to it.
